ADVISORY
- 2007
We, at Spring Garden, know that
our customers are eager to plant their fabulous flowers, fruits, shrubs
and trees as early as possible. The following information may be useful
to help you understand our priorities in setting shipping dates.
This year’s catalogue contains a wide variety of plants. Many
are field grown in southern Ontario, some are imported from Europe and
others are imported from the United States. Regardless of the source
of individual items in your order, all parts of your shipment will be
packed to arrive at the same time.
Shipments are arranged to take into consideration your growing zone.
Warmest zones receive their plants first, but the temperature of the
zones the plants must travel through on way to their destinations must
also be taken into account. Another consideration is whether-or-not
you live in a “micro-climate”, where unique weather conditions
or terrain have an affect upon the performance of plants.
Spring Garden Canada coordinates its shipments so they will arrive at
the proper spring planting time for your area, with all shipping normally
completed by late spring. We monitor weather reports throughout the
country and do everything possible to assure safe arrival at your home
with ample time for planting.
